The federal government is trying to erase our history. Gathering together to remember and celebrate the brave activists who came before us is our resistance. Learn about and share the history of early LGBTQ activists whose bravery paved the way for us today. Channel their strength as we, now, stand up to those who threaten the rights and livelihoods of our LGBTQ community. Here's to the Mattachine Society Sip-In of 1966! Join us in joyful celebration on April 21st. Open to all; no advance registration or RSVP required.

"… when we walked in, the bartender put glasses in front of us, and we told him that we were gay and we intended to remain orderly, we just wanted service. And he said, 'hey, you're gay, I can't serve you,' and he put his hands over the top of the glass, which made wonderful photographs."
