If you're attending AIA26, I hope you'll join us for Built by Many: Affinity & Identity Group Meetup on Wednesday, June 10, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. in the Community Hub.
Built by Many is an informal networking and community-building event designed to bring together people who are involved in EDI efforts across the profession. Whether you serve on an AIA EDI committee, participate in an affinity or identity-based group at your local chapter, belong to an allied organization, or are simply interested in connecting with others advancing community and belonging in architecture, we invite you to join us.
This will be an opportunity to meet and mingle with colleagues from across the country, learn about the many communities that exist within the architecture ecosystem, exchange ideas, and build new relationships. Representatives from AIA member groups, chapter-based affinity groups, and allied affinity and identity-based organizations will be present throughout the Community Hub, creating opportunities for conversation, connection, and collaboration.
If your chapter has affinity groups, identity-based communities, EDI committees, or relationships with allied organizations that may be attending AIA26, please feel free to share this invitation with them as well.
