Michael,
Good to hear things are moving forward. I hope the AIA understands how important this 'launch' is and is giving it priority.
Thank you for your efforts.

Hi Matt. We are not yet searchable and joinable beyond pilot members. Our technology team decided to hold off on the transition to post-pilot phase until AIA launches the Thrive experience on AIA KnowledgeNet (new look and name coming soon). It was originally scheduled to happen in June and due to some technical considerations, got pushed to later this month. I am working closely with the team to ensure that when we go post-pilot all of the pilot members' privacy and other profile settings remain intact. At that point, this group will be launched and promoted as the LGBTQIA+ member group and will be searchable and joinable by anyone with an active AIA account. As soon as I have the actual launch date, I will let the group know.
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Just curious - is our Affinity Group live now to all AIA National Members? I recall it was supposed to go live in June, but it wasn't clear as it's not showing up on the general AIA.org website. Curious to know the status and timeline for this and other Affinity groups the AIA is launching.
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks, Matt. This is very helpful. In addition to using this thread to gather feedback on the fly, I'll be surveying the group members at regular intervals during the pilot phase so that we are in good shape to transition to the post-pilot phase.

Hi everyone,
A few of us thought it would be a good idea to use a separate discussion thread to be able to post feedback on the AIA National LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group itself. This will allow AIA National a place to collect information on potential improvements, changes, or simply what's going well with the group.
Please feel free to add a reply to this post to offer any feedback to the AIA National team.
