Day 2 of the AIA / Cal-OES Safety Assessment Program training for an international group of architects, engineers, and building officials is in the books! This training is designed for these professionals to become nationally certified disaster resonders is both highly strategic and critically important as disaster events are becoming far more frequent, stronger in destructive force, and with staggering and increasing costs to disaster strickent communities. My gratitude is warmly given to our attendess and our team of my incredible instructor colleague Behrooz Eman, and our two amazing AIA professionals who made the success of the SAP training all happen...Paola Capo and Caroline Willauer! In the midst of our Day 2 training, these very kind words were sent to us: "I must say this has been such an inspiring training. I am a part of AIA Atlanta and the Committee on the Environment. I am completing this training for work and the committee. This has been very impressive. I noticed at least 10 Architects ar in this training from Jamaica and I am going to be leading a seminar on building resilience in the aftermath of Hurricanes. All of this was amazing. I just wanted to say thank you! - Trystin Kier Francis
