Am looking for documents, white papers or studies that discuss what information should be found where in a Construction Document set.  Over the years I have been involved in a fair number of friendly debates over where best to locate CD information.  The goal being to reference information once and in a location that helps assure that information will be found by the general contractor, subcontractors, suppliers and those doing construction administration.

    Thank You:
    Dennis

Have you ruled out AIA Document A521 "Uniform Location of Subject Matter" as a basis for discussion within the Project Manual?  CSI's Manual of Practice also defines what should be on drawings and in the specifications, and would be a good reference for conversation.
