    Submission Deadline Approaching for COAA's 2011 Project Leadership Awards 

     

    Project Leadership Award
    The August 31 submission deadline for the COAA Project Leadership Award, a program designed to recognize the project Owner who achieves excellence by demonstrating exceptional leadership and project management skills, is fast approaching.
      
    The Project Leadership Award is open to both public and private Owners.
      
    The winner recieves national recognition in a 2012 issue of Owners Perspective magazine as well as website coverage and exposure at the 2012 Fall Owners Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
      
    Projects nominated for the Project Leadership Award must have been substantially completed (available for occupancy) between the period January 1, 2010 and the nomination deadline of August 31, 2011.  Nominated projects will be reviewed by the Awards Committee which will select projects demonstrating excellence in the following areas:
    • Overall Project Management
    • Overall Project Success
    • Scheduling
    • Cost Management
    • Quality Managemet
    • Project Complexity
    • Conservation & Sustainability
    • Team Effort

    Submission Deadline: August 31, 2011

    Member Entry Fee: $350
    Non-Member Entry Fee: $600

     

    The program is open to all types of construction projects, e.g. health care facilities, government buildings, manufacturing plants, educational/research facilities, etc. Renovation and new construction projects, large or small, are eligible for the award. Project size and cost will not be contributing or deciding factors.
