We are a 15 person firm in Illinois and use Quickbooks Professional Services accounting software and Quickbooks TimeTracker. The TimeTracker is an online product allowing you to input from any computer with an internet connection. Data can then be downloaded directly into Quickbooks for tracking time per job. Quickbooks does allow a decent degree of customization for invoices, etc. Not perfect for tracking project costs, but certainly less expensive and less complicated than some others. ArchiOffice looks very nice, but is expensive to license for the whole office.
