Thank you very much Gary Collins for your thoughtful and relatively suscinct explanation of the role of architects in design and construction. There are many nuances to how this all plays out but I think the orchestration of relationships as arbiter, including filtering through the expertise of various consultants, fabricators, contractors and subcontractors as arbiter, is a very accurate and valueable viewpoint. This also gets to the core of where the value of architects lie and think views you have expressed are very helpful to the community of architects in understanding and applying their value in every day practice.
