Sometimes an advance retainer which is required to be replenished can work, if you suspect ahead of time that there will be trouble collecting.

Does anyone have a good system they can share regarding fee collection? Public entities are generally good about paying within 30 days, but many of our private clients are 60/90 days (or more) out.
