In our in-house team meetings I am seeing a conflict in meeting process.
Baby Boomers want printed handouts siting better understanding and better retention when taking notes on the printed page. They feel having someone else "driving" the computer is a distraction to the meeting.
Gen Y staff want to view/manage content on the projector screen with the computer -siting more flexibility and the environmental benefits of not wasting paper.
Is this coincidence or a generational difference? Is printed content proven to result in more productive meetings? (I have suggested teams use both options but staff in favor of print outs feel the computer method is a distraction).
There is a growing divide and I welcome recommendations,
