AIA Diversity and Inclusion is hosting a Shadow an Architect Program on Thursday, April 14, and we need you to make it happen! Volunteers are needed for the day to serve as mentors to students from Cardozo Senior High School. The day's events will include a morning Meet-and-Greet with the students at AIA National Headquarters, an engaging and design-based icebreaker, and a tour of USGBC's office at 2101 L Street, NW.
Volunteer mentors may be architecture students, interns, or registered architects. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer mentor for this event, or have any questions, please contact Yvette Morris at ymorris@aia.org. The Shadow an Architect Program will occur between 10 am and 3 pm on Thursday, April 14, and volunteer mentors are asked to be available for the duration of that time.
