Eva arrived in Bryan, Texas, in 1994, after living and working in Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico. She joined The Arkitex Studio Inc in 1997 and became a partner in 2008. Arkitex Studio is a mid-sized firm who strives to improve lives and build community through architecture. As a principal of Arkitex Studio, Eva has managed multiple project types, but focuses on higher-education, commercial, and faith-based projects. She has a particular passion for projects that serve the community and for historic buildings and places. Eva was President of the Brazos Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in 2000 and 2011 and served as Chapter Director in 2018. Eva participated at the state level from 2012 through 2015 as Chair of the Historic Resources Committee for the Texas Society of Architects. She has served as the Secretary, President Elect, and President of the Board for the Texas Society of Architects. In 2024 Eva was appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners for a 4-year term. She also currently serves her local community on the City of Bryan Historic Landmark Commission.
