Juan holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires and is a registered architect with the Professional Council of Architecture & Urban Planning in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is also an International Associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in the U.S.
Throughout his career, Juan has gained extensive experience working on luxury hotels, resorts, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. His portfolio includes collaborations with prominent industry brands like Hard Rock Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Wyndham, Choice Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and boutique operators.
Currently, as a Senior Project Manager at EMPAD Architecture + Design in Clearwater, Florida, Juan focuses on achieving design excellence and providing outstanding client service. His role allows him to lead a variety of commercial projects across both private and public sectors, including work in the defense, aviation, and automotive industries.
Juan is actively involved in the professional community, serving on the board of The Center for Architecture and Design and collaborating with the Immigrant Architect Coalition. He has held numerous leadership roles, such as President of AIA Central Kentucky (2022), board member at AIA Kentucky (2020-2022), and Vice President of AIA Tampa Bay (2019). His community involvement also includes serving as a Commissioner for the Tampa Barrio Latino Commission and as a member of the Hillsborough County Public Art Committee. His dedication to the field spans from 2014 to 2024, including trusteeship with The Tampa Bay Foundation for Architecture and Design.
