    Hello All,

Lino Peña-Martinez here from the Government Affairs & Public Policy team to extend an invite to any of our members attending Climate Week in NYC.  You are warmly invited to join global leaders, policymakers, scientists and health experts for Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action – the inaugural High-Level Side Event on indoor air quality, to take place on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly around Climate Week this year in NYC. The event will take place September 23, 2025 at the UN Headquarters in New York City. RSVP LINK HERE

Given that indoor air quality is a global issue of significant interest, with public health, pandemic preparedness, and climate resilience as driving forces for action, the Australian Academy of Science, Brown University School of Public Health, Burnet Institute, and The OSLUV Project are convening this event to elevate global awareness, strengthen international collaborations, share challenges, and showcase best practices.

Montenegro and France are co-sponsoring the event, the Montenegrin President confirmed his participation and the French Health Minister is expected to attend and deliver remarks (see info in RSVP Link). Additionally, high-level representatives from the UN Environment Programme, International Labour Organization, and World Health Organization are confirmed to speak as well. There are over 50 partnering organizations, including the World Federation of Public Health Associations, the World Heart Federation, the International WELL Building Institute, ASHRAE, USGBC, REHVA, ISIAQ, Harvard Healthy Buildings, and others.

This event will highlight the critical importance of indoor air quality and include the launch of a Global Pledge for Healthy Indoor Air, in which they welcome governments and organizations to sign onto and drive global momentum on this important topic.

RSVP Deadline is Sunday September 14th, 2025 please complete the following form by then to attend: INVITATION - HEALTHY INDOOR AIR: A GLOBAL CALL TO ACTION

    Best,
