If you will be at #AIA25 next week, I hope I'll see you at the Climate Action Networking Reception, a gathering of the various climate and resilience groups at AIA (a veritable acronym soup: COTE, CADE, RADR, and others). The larger point is that the profession is embracing the responsibility and the opportunities inherent in climate response as part of design.
This gathering (which I anticipate will be more fun than "networking reception" suggests) is on Thursday, June 5, from 5-630pm -- a perfect pre Gala or pre dinner gig. It's at Omni Boston at the Seaport. It's a great time to get some face time with the COTE Leadership Group and many others.

Here's the info:
EV128
Thursday, June 5, 5:00pm - 6:30pm; Omni Boston at the Seaport
This event will provide an opportunity to meet and build professional networks with other architects, designers, students, and AEC professionals who share your passion for sustainability and climate-resilient design. Mingle and network with like-minded peers as you share ideas and knowledge about integrating design outcomes for zero carbon, equity, resilience, and health in the built environment.
Fee: $79
I'm happy to note that our friends at Corgan are generously supporting this gathering, and I hope to see you there. Thank you, Corgan and Varun Kohli, FAIA, who was on the COTE Leadership Group and remains an active part of the COTE community. (Actually, that is a lifetime commitment, apparently. COTE holds on tight! I should know.)
