Registration is officially open for the BEC and BETEC National Symposium in Chicago this fall! We have a lot of crossover between the AIA Knowledge communities and the Building Enclosure Council and Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council and I want to encourage anyone interested in building performance and building science to come to Chicago to spend the day with us listening to some great presentations and meeting like minded architects and designers.
Stephanie Stubbs is the VP of Technical Solutions for the National Institute of Building Science and also a member of the Leadership Group for the Building Performance KC. I am the current BPKC chair and also the Vice Chair of the Chicago BEC hosting the symposium.. and I will be presenting at the symposium with last year's chair of BPKC, Will Babbington (also past chair of the national BEC), and Dan Overbey, who is the incoming chair for the 2030 Working Group in 2026.
