Patient room bathrooms and ADA

  • 1.  Patient room bathrooms and ADA

    New York city is now requireing that all bathrooms in acute care patient rooms be handicaped accessible, in compliance with ANSI A117.1.  I recall some critiques of these standards as not being optimal for hospitalized patients. Can anyone point me to articles or papers about this? Any research?
