  • 1.  Ambulatory Care Plan Typology

    Erin Thanks for posting, we are about to embark on a project to help one of our clients re-imagine the Medical Office Building in terms of planning typology, patient engagement, eliminating wait times, staffing efficiency and project delivery / speed to market. It is planned to start in first quarter of 2012 and end by mid year we will be glad to share a summary of our results with the Academy.

    A few topics that I think should be studied that may have been included but did not rise to the top of the results -

    1. is the impact that department silos have on efficiency and patient outcomes.
    2. compare pre healthcare reform to post health care reform (once it settles down) what will be the impact of meaningful use, accountable care and medical home models on the industry.
