I'd like to invite the thought leaders in health facility design to join us in Charleston, SC for a "mountaintop" experience later this year. Working with patients, hospitals, and other stakeholders, we will develop new solutions that we all may use moving forward in design for the benefit of the patient, and others who work to keep them well.
We as designers don't often get the opportunity to brainstorm with other great designers from competing firms. We certainly wouldn't expect to do so with patients, their families, nurses, and doctors in the room. However, we are all working toward the same goals. This is the opportunity to collaborate with our peers on new ideas, with the users there to guide us.
