    The process for review and adoption of new rules for use of NFPA 101 (LSC) 2012 for CMS facilities have been posted for comment at http://ofr.gov/inspection.aspx.  The deadline for comments is June 16, 2014.

    One critical question to the profession is the missing option to also reference the 2015 IBC which has dramatically adjusted to incorporate many LSC features.  Would adoption of the IBC in lieu of the LSC eliminate conflicts in design, construction and operations that are often issues using the current rules.
