As a doctoral student in the Planning, Design and Built Environment PhD program at Clemson University, I am developing a tool-kit to evaluate the performance of ambulatory clinic designs. As such, I invite you to participate in a voluntary survey to identify the key built environment factors in clinics that impact four outcome areas: operational efficiency, space efficiency, clinical effectiveness and a positive experience. This survey provides a great opportunity for members of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AIA/AAH) to provide feedback on the perceived issues that are critical to consider in the design of ambulatory care clinics. Your contribution will help advance clinic design with the purpose of achieving positive outcomes.

The survey will be open for two weeks and it will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. All survey responses will be kept confidential and only summarized data will be reported. Please access the survey by clicking on the following link: http://bit.ly/ClemsonPOE

I thank you for your participation! If you have any questions about this survey please contact Deborah Franqui at (787) 249-0916 or via e-mail at dafranqui@gmail.com
