Friday November 18th, 12 noon:    "Developing Green"

This month we have Gary DuBrock,  Director of Development for the Barron-Collier Companies in Phoenix (Collier Center downtown Phoenix, www.barroncollier.com)  talking to our group about what it takes from the development point of view to make a sustainable project financially cost-effective.  Why are developers looking to build green properties?  Is the financial ROI green enough?  Are the tax-dollar and utility incentives as green as we dare to remember?  Lifestyle vs. price, expectations of the new generations, and a bit of history on the Phoenix real estate market may help putting some of these issues in a new perspective.  Please join us Friday at noon for an exciting dialogue on these questions.

Also, next month on Friday Deceber 16th, when we will have Phil Allsopp, RIBA of Shaping Footprints (www.sfpinc.com) join  us to discuss "Native Green: American Indian approach on sustainable design and communities in the southwest"
