    Interesting discussion and very importantly correct about never never promising or establishing a contractual obligation to provide LEED certification or any other LEED rating level for projects we do.

    I also really appreciated the comment about achieving LEED ratings being a TEAM effort, having once worked for an employer who told me that LEED was solely a matter of the construction specifications. This fellow needed to have it explained to him that achieving LEED credits should start with the owner's site selection and proceed from the beginning of the project's schematic design and involve the MEP, Civil Eng. and the landscape architect from the very beginning of the process. One hopes that he listened, or that his ability to properly contract with owners has improved.
