I have been tasked with determining what the future potential market will be for public safety projects ,like ;fire and rescue facilities , police stations , emergerncy call centers, or any combination , in the mid atlantic region. Does any one know a source for this information. I have gleened some very general information such as in 2009 the state of virginia received 9.3 million dollars from the department of Homeland Security ( DHS). The DHS received from 5000 to 10,000 applications and gave out about 100 in 2009.
