Small Project Design

I would like to hear from Architects with knowledge of design of branch Banks and Credit Unions.   What trends and innovations in design do you see in that building type?  .....especially interior design? ....for example, a "pod environment" for client services.  Can you direct me to any published sources for this information?   Thank you for your input.

I've designed varying projects for banks and credit unions using the traditional teller line, or the open pods, or the remote teller stations with the closed circuit TV.  They have all been successful, so I would think it depends on the client's philosophy and their member / patron base.  Regarding the questions of trends, I would say they are all still at play.
