So I read about the IPad in recent posts - and how some people had tried to use if for sketching. Software such as
Measures and
Penultimate was suggested. We tried downloading some of these and so far,
Idraw seems to be the best performer.
I want to use the machine for conceptual drawing/sketching. I seem to be constantly sketching over photographic images or floor plans - and I want to scale these underlying images/plans. Sort of pull a piece of electronic bumwad over the image and sketch on it. It's getting the scale 'correct" on the image that's the challenge. So far we've managed to scale the images/plans based upon a known scale element - such as a 36 inch wide front door to a house or a door into a standard office, or inserting a measureing stick into the photo - that kind of thing.
I've been using PC forever - so my question relates to what software/hardware are my fellow PC user architects using and having success with regarding the sketching work mentioned earlier in this post.
Or should I slip over to the other side - IPad with Idraw?
