HATCH Asheville 2011 and AIA Asheville Young Architects Forum present the first annual GROUNDBREAKERS architecture competition for current architecture students and young professionals. The theme for this year's HATCH Asheville for the discipline of architecture is Design for Action! . The GROUNDBREAKERS competition is an open call to young professionals and current students of architecture that believe architecture can enact change for good. If you think design can change the world and ask yourself "What if?" on a regular basis, we are interested in celebrating your work here in Asheville! Participants can submit thesis projects, built works or any speculative works. We just require vision, innovation and a call to action.
