    I've always been told that Florida is one of the few states that require an architect for every habitable structure, even single-family homes, perhaps due to their hurricane winds.
    Hooray for Florida, I wish other states had those same laws.

    Not true.  I have a Florida Architects license and so need to keep up on state requirements.  End of February, for example, is when we all renew for the next bienium and all our CE requirements need to be in order.
