My firm is located relatively close to a major U.S. military base.  About a year ago we applied to be considered for work there.  Shortly thereafter we were bombarded with messages from organizations that sounded very similar to General Services Administration (GSA).  And they were very expenssive services.  Later I had the opportunity to ask a contracting officer about these 'come ons'.  His comment was that they are a total rip-off.

My firm is experiencing the same glut of e-mails from those same organizations.  I started the process of getting my firm certified as a "Service Disabled Veteran Owned" firm with the VA in November of last year.  It only took a few days, after the initial application was filled out on-line, for those type of e-mails to start rolling in.  I get up to 5-10 a day.  Does anyone have any experience getting these stopped, other than taking the time to identify each and every one as spam?
