  • 1.  How to import and render in Photoshop

    John,

    Please explain the steps required to export into Photoshop and then how you render in Photoshop.  Thanks.

    Donald,

    I've been using Photoshop to render elevations, plans, etc. for years.
    I will plot an Autocad drawing to a PDF file and then open the PDF in Photoshop. Often I will need to plot a few PDF's to allow for quick filling of areas or example when I'm rendering an elevation I plot the brick coursing to a separate file and then overlay it in Photoshop.

    You could try using Piranesi, from Infomatrix.  It looks like Photoshop but works in 3d.  Their website is www.piranesi.co.uk.
