Small Project Design

Hello to all and Happy Holidays.

I am looking for an online backup service for my small office. We are 1-5 persons firm. Any recommendations are highly appreciated.

I was using a program called JungleDisk for online backups, costing about $6/month for my one-person office (actual cost based upon amount of uploaded information).  It worked fine, but I noticed it made my computers (Macs) run hot.  I recently switched to BackBlaze, with which the computers seem to run cooler.  They have a flat $5/month per computer fee.  It seems to work well.

We also have used Carbonite over several years now and have had to recover three times on various computers over that time. Works great and does the automatic backup so we do not have to think about it. Fair price for the security.

I also have used Carbonite for the past several years.  Have had to restore files a couple of different times and the program is great and easy.  Put everything back where it belonged and up-to-date.

Hi Magdalena. A tech friend of mine recommended Carbonite which I have used now successfully and painlessly for two years.
