AIA to participate in the Global Climate Action Summit

  

As a part of AIA’s continued dedication to sustainability and carbon neutrality, we are sending a delegation to the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco September 12-14. Those attending on AIA’s behalf include:

The group will take part in a variety of affiliated events sponsored by AIA, including the Carbon Smart Building Day on Tuesday, September 11th the Climate Heritage Mobilization on Wednesday, September 12th. Carbon Smart Building Day envisions the design and construction of highly efficient new buildings, retrofitting of existing buildings, and the reduction of embodied carbon emissions from building construction and use of carbon as a significant material component in buildings. The Climate Heritage Mobilization aims to rally the cultural heritage and historic preservation sectors for climate action in support of the Paris Agreement.
