COTE Guide to Local + State Groups
The AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE®) Network has created a best practices guide to help you develop and/or sustain a local, state, or regional AIA COTE group. COTE members have been establishing state and city groups at AIA components across the country for most of COTE’s 30-year history. As COTE continues to cultivate engagement at the component level, it continues to provide a platform to fulfill its mission, building upon the reach of the national leadership group. This Guide includes resources, practical examples, and ideas on how to start and or grow your committee!
Common App for Design Excellence
The Common App for Design Excellence is an Excel-based tool designed to streamline the Design Awards submission process. It aligns with the AIA’s Framework for Design Excellence, providing consistent and clear project data for easier comparisons across submissions. The app collects sustainable project data and includes a spider graph output, offering a visual representation of how a building or project performs in various categories.
