At Milliken, our people come to work every day with a bold purpose: To positively impact the world around us for generations to come. We fulfill that purpose via curious minds creating inspired solutions. That means we start by asking, “What does the world need?” And it’s clear the world needs a lot. Our planet needs healing, our people need belonging, and our communities need action.
We stand FOR HUMANKIND in every action we take and every decision we make. For us, that starts by demonstrating leadership in our products.
The concept of modern luxury is defined by experiences, not things. Luxury is achieved through an unwavering commitment to environmentally conscious design and future-driven processes. To craft a resilient, PVC-Free option, we’ve created the next generational product solution: Merge Forward. All of the products in the Merge Forward collection are certified (third party verified) by ILFI’s Declare program as Red List Free. (Declare screens a product’s ingredients directly against the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List, saving project teams from the arduous task of vetting products by hand. The LBC Red List contains the “worst in class” materials, chemicals and elements known to pose serious risks to human health and the greater ecosystem that are prevalent in the building products industry.)
Our Merge Forward solutions are long-lasting, sustainable, and design-forward in their creation. These lightweight flooring options are crafted to impress in terms of aesthetics and performance, utilizing a translucent wear layer that allows clarity of the design..
We pursue long-term solutions that are highly resistant to the impact of the everyday; Merge Forward is a PVC-Free collection with superior scuff and stain resistance.
Our flooring is crafted holistically as we strive to provide solutions that look beautiful and perform at the highest level. Our products include robust through-floor noise mitigation, keeping out unwanted distractions.
The three patterns and 12 colorways were inspired by the captivating textures and beneficial environmental impact of mangrove forests. This high-performing Red List Free-collection is as innovative as it is beautiful – art backed by science. Furthermore, it allows you to meet your environmental goals and design price point, ensuring you never compromise style or sustainability objectives.
As part of our M/PACT program, great care is taken when selecting raw materials, manufacturing products, and delivering them to our customers. The use of materials that don’t contain harmful chemicals is a critical pathway to end-of-life product recycling.
Our science-based net-zero targets have been approved and verified by the U.N.-backed Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). SBTi is a collective of international organizations dedicated to helping companies set emission reduction targets consistent with climate science and the Paris Agreement.
As the first floor covering company to have its science-based targets validated to achieve net-zero by 2050 and one of the first 50 companies in the world with this validation, we are excited to be working -- together with architects and other AEC leaders -- for a better tomorrow.
