Before I start to wind down my year as past president and my time on the Academy Board, I’d like to reach out one more time to anyone who has an interest in engaging in a more meaningful way with the Academy of Architecture for Health.
From my own experience and from my observations, I can testify that what you get out of the Academy is magnified by your direct involvement. We learned from the results of our Strategic Planning efforts last year that our members’ primary needs and interests are education and networking. Being involved on a committee, or on the board, accelerates your access to both. If you are intrigued with the idea of volunteering, I can help you understand what the opportunities are, and help you find out what your skills and interests best align with.
