The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (US Dept. of Education) sponsored a study performed by the Center for Inclusive Design & Environmental Access (SUNY Buffalo). This was a three-part study, one part examining a universally designed office building in New York, one part examining three “virtual” restaurants consisting of four real restaurants with varying degrees of accessibility, and the last part consisting of video observation of different spaces in Las Vegas.
