The ADA: How it Applies to Judicial and Correctional Facilities

ADA Standards for accessible design are much more complicated when applied to detention and judicial centers. This session will discuss specific detention and judicial facility requirements in ADAAG 2004 and any additional requirements in the revised ADA title II regulations (scheduled for release July 26, 2010) The attendees will learn what concerns DOJ's Disability Rights Section and plaintiffs and how DOJ and plaintiffs are enforcing ADA compliance.
