Government Affairs Forum (GAF) Confidentiality Statement
The Government Affairs Forum (GAF) is a private platform created exclusively for AIA component executives, government affairs leaders, and approved participants. To maintain the integrity of this community and encourage open dialogue, all members agree to the following:
  • Confidentiality of Content: All posts, discussions, and shared resources are internal AIA communications. They may not be forwarded, copied, or shared outside of GAF without prior approval from AIA staff.
  • Safe Environment for Engagement: GAF is designed to be a trusted space where members can exchange ideas, strategies, and challenges without concern that information will be leaked or misused. Respecting this confidentiality helps foster candid discussions and peer-to-peer support.
  • Internal Use Only: Information posted in GAF is intended solely to strengthen the advocacy work of AIA components and members.
  • Exceptions: AIA staff updates and articles explicitly marked as “shareable” may be distributed to your members, boards, or committees.
  • Enforcement: Any member who shares GAF content externally without authorization will have their discussion privileges revoked and may be removed from the platform.
By participating in GAF, you affirm your commitment to these principles and to creating a safe, collaborative environment for all members.
