Workshopping Design -Impact of Young Architects
“Design” is a central focus for architects, but it’s meaning is not simply defined. The definition of “good” design varies from person to person and there is no right or wrong answer. As one progresses through their career their definition of design may change and evolve.
Join the AIA Committee on Design (COD) for a workshop intended to create and hone your own individual definition of design and share it with others at every level of the profession. The workshop will include an introduction by 2026 AIA COD Chair John Myefski, a round table discussion with three recent AIA National Young Architect Award Winners focused on the impact they have had on the firms they practice in, and multiple chances for small group discussions to share your own experiences with other workshop participants, members of the AIA COD, the Young Architect Award Winners, and other members of their firms.
