Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant concept—it's becoming part of everyday architectural practice. This 2026 symposium co-hosted by TAP and the AIA Taskforce explores what it means to be an AI-enabled architect, focusing on accessible, off-the-shelf tools reshaping daily workflows. From Autodesk Assistant to Copilot, widely available platforms are supporting task management, documentation, coordination, visualization, and decision-making for firms of all sizes. Framed across the full arc of project delivery and practice operations, sessions will examine both analytical and creative applications of AI, highlighting practical ways architects can integrate these tools into core “parts of the day.”

This symposium is hosted by Technology in Architectural Practice, an AIA knowledge community (aia.org/tap) and the AIA AI Taskforce (aia.org/resource-center/ai-task-force).
