Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge: Innovative Models in Modular Housing

This webinar will explore the role of innovation in breaking down systemic barriers to housing access and affordability by sharing an overview of the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge program, and diving into two innovations in modular housing – 1) Module’s Last Mile Network and 2) cdcb and buildingcommunity WORKSHOP’S DreamBuild. Learn from architects who are challenging the status quo and creating scalable delivery systems that are energy efficient, adjusted to fit a community’s needs and aesthetics, and building equity through homeownership and workforce development. The discussion will include sharing inspiring success stories as well as a candid conversation of challenges.

This webinar is part of a series produced by the AIA Right-to-Housing Working Group. In each episode, we ask: “What does the right to housing mean in practice?” and “How can architects contribute?
