Upcoming Information Session on Legislative Changes Impacting Diplomatic Construction Contracting
Join an upcoming virtual information session, hosted by OBO External Affairs, to learn more about key legislative changes recently implemented through the State Authorization National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), signed into law in December 2024.
This session will take place virtually on Tuesday, May 20th, from 3 - 3:45 pm EST, and will provide an overview of updates to the contractor qualification process for overseas diplomatic construction projects. These changes are intended to expand the contractor base, streamline administrative procedures, and promote greater competition for U.S. firms. OBO subject-matter experts will walk through the revised qualification criteria, updated thresholds, and the streamlined two-step process for determining eligibility, and will address questions from participants.
Speakers include:
- Welcome from External Affairs Director James Rodriguez
- Message from OBO Director Patricia Lacina
- Presentation from OBO Managing Directors Mitch Miles and Rick Sullivan, A/GA Senior Advisor Anna Urman and A/GA Division Director Darlene Ervin.
Registration is mandatory to attend. Please register in advance here.
