How much automation should we trust in team coordination?

As AI clash detection improves, would you allow algorithms to approve minor design changes automatically?

    Why or why not?

Great question, Thesla. I trust AI to identify clashes, but not to approve resolutions.

In a healthcare TI, a "minor" 2-inch shift to clear a duct can trigger a domino effect on ADA or Title 24 compliance. AI lacks the context of liability-the machine doesn't show up to the hearing when a field inspection fails; the architect does.

I see AI as a Triage Partner presenting compliant options, while the architect remains the Signatory of Intent. Let the machine solve the math, but the human must own the decision.

    William,

This is a very interesting approach and highlights a strong opportunity to reskill our practitioners by integrating AI‑assisted workflows into practice.
