Join the AIA Historic Resources Committee and invited experts at Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West, a UNESCO World Heritage site and National Historic Landmark nestled in the desert foothills of the McDowell Mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona. This biennial event offers an opportunity for dialogue on timely topics facing the historic preservation profession, as well as networking with preservation peers from across the country, as part of a unique experience at the historic Taliesin West campus, including a private twilight behind-the-scenes tour and reception for attendees.
To be held on February 27-28, 2026, the AIA HRC 2026 Taliesin Colloquium, Historic Preservation in an Age of Disruption, will examine the field of historic preservation at a time of significant change. Those involved in the stewardship of the built environment must consider and navigate many converging and diverging issues driven by a shift in policy, climate, and the rapid advancement of technology. This gathering will offer timely perspectives, expertise, and engaging conversation about the rapidly evolving challenges and opportunities for historic preservation practitioners inherent in this moment. Attendees can earn 8 AIA CEUs/HSW learning units for participation.
