    I am pleased to the group know about the upcoming http://www.preservingtherecentpast.org/" style="font-size: 13.3333px">Preserving the Recent Past 4 conference, which will be held March 19 through 22, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts. The primary sponsor is the Historic Preservation Education Foundation and the host entity is Boston Architectural College, which is appropriately located in a very interesting Brutalist concrete building in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. Docomomo US is a primary conference partner, participating in conference planning and coordinating conference tours. This conference marks the 30th anniversary of the groundbreaking Preserving the Recent Past conference and is part of a series of international conferences focusing on preservation of recent past resources. The conference will focus on preservation strategies and issues related to post-World War II buildings, structures, and sites and the ways in which preservation approaches and definitions of the recent past have changed over the past three decades. It will include paper sessions in concurrent tracks on history, advocacy, and technology; special seminars and workshops; and tours. AIA continuing education credits will be provided.

    We are also soliciting sponsorship contributions for the conference.
