Whatever efficiencies transportation has achieved in past decades, they get eaten up by additional demand. Thus transportation remains a problem child when it comes to climate change. Climate Week in New York and another record hot year seem to be as good a reason as any to take a closer look how transportation's share on greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced.

In a recent Zoom call Maryland transportation, equity and environment advocates discussed the Maryland Climate Pathway Report which deals with Maryland"s policies to meet Greenhouse Gas reduction targets.
