    The Fall 2025 (October) edition of Learning By Design magazine has published.

    The Fall 2025 edition of Learning By Design magazine was published on October 13, 2025. Within its 168 pages, you'll discover more than 76 exemplary projects featured in this year's Architectural and Interior Design Awards of Excellence.

    Of the many juried submissions, nine projects earned top designations-being bestowed acknowledgements of Grand Prize, Citation of Excellence, and Honor Awards for exceptional achievements in Social Impact, Historic Repurpose, Climate Action, Research Exploration, Adaptive Reuse, and Design Over/Under 100,000 Sq. Ft. The full compendium showcases innovative educational environments spanning the entire continuum of learning.

    A highlight of the October edition is the AIA-CAE feature article, "Student Engagement: A Call to Action." The piece was authored by Sarah Bartz, Designer & Research Lead at Modus Studio; Cheryl Jacobs, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal at NAC; Greg Louviere, AIA, NCIDQ, Design Manager at GPD Group; Arjun Mande, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Design Principal at Goody Clancy; and Arty Molinari, AIA, LEED Green Associate, CPTED, Principal at All Terrain Architect, LLC-all active members of the AIA-CAE Advocacy Subcommittee.
