    Didn't get into the official AIA tours at conference?    No problem.

    IDKC has put together a self-guided map of 11 faith-based architectural landmarks across San Diego - synagogues, Catholic churches, a mosque, a Methodist campus, and a temple designed by Paramahansa Yogananda himself. The collection spans a century of design, from Irving Gill's 1920 Sacred Heart Chapel in Coronado to Byzantine-Moorish domes, Spanish Colonial revival, and contemporary ecclesiastical work.

    Not everything is walkable from the convention center, but every site is worth the trip.
