Friends, there's a AIA COTE Book Talk coming up (free and virtual):
I hope you will join us on Tuesday, 26 August, from 1-2pm ET.
Authors Nico Larco, AIA, and Kaarin Knudson, AIA, will talk about their book, The Sustainable Urban Design Handbook (Routledge), with Tim Beatley, the University of Virginia professor who reviewed it for COTE news (bit.ly/COTEnews_JulAug25_COTEbookreview).
The book is a big, meaty resource with a framework that practitioners can apply in communities of all scales. Nico and Kaarin both teach at the University of Oregon School of Architecture & Environment (and Kaarin is Mayor of Eugene, Oregon).
We have slots still available for this FREE session (which is worth 1 CE/LU, if that's your jam). And I hope you will trust me that an hour spent with these three amazing people -- Kaarin, Nico, and Tim -- will be the most enjoyable learning unit you've ever earned. (And it's free!)
