Technology in Architectural Practice

Hello, TAP community!

I'm excited to share that we're launching the Cleveland Technology in Architecture Practice (TAP) Knowledge Community-the first local TAP group in Cleveland. Inspired by the outstanding work of the national TAP community, our goal is to create a regional network where professionals can connect, share knowledge, and explore how technology is transforming architectural practice.

If you're in Cleveland or Northeast Ohio, we'd love to have you join us for our inaugural virtual meeting.

Our first meeting will include:

·         An introduction to the vision and goals for the Cleveland TAP Knowledge Community

·         Welcome remarks from AIA Cleveland leadership and members of the AIA National TAP Advisory Group

·         An open discussion to hear what topics and initiatives would be most valuable to our local community

Whether your interests include BIM, computational design, AI, digital practice, visualization, interoperability, automation, or emerging technologies, we hope you'll join us as we begin building a collaborative local network that complements the national TAP community.

I grab lunch once a month with my local TAP chapter here in North Carolina. They've been through their share of successes and struggles, having already hosted two annual conferences with a third coming up this year. Their attendance has grown each year, so they have some great momentum building!
